The Museum Concert Series is expected to return this spring in Joliet. Featuring a variety of regional music acts, it takes place at the Joliet Area Historical Museum.
The next concert will take place in late March. It will feature the South Side Exiles, who perform ‘70s-style rock and roll. The group is based in Chicago and has performed all over the country.
In April, the series will continue with The Heroes of Rock featuring Skip Griparis. He will be performing music from the 1940s, ‘50s, and ‘60s. The artists whose songs will be covered are set to include Buddy Holly, Jimi Hendrix, and The Beatles.
No doubt many people are missing live musical performances, so the series gives them hope that they may finally return. To help spread the word about events like the series, Joliet flyer printing firms are often asked to supply printed advertising that can be inexpensively distributed.
The South Side Exiles performance will take place on March 29 beginning at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $8 for Joliet Area Historical Museum members and students and $10 for adults.
The Heroes of Rock and Roll concert will be held on April 12 starting at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $10 for members and students and $12 for adults.
