Joliet youth to experience career exploration day

Today’s career landscape is rapidly changing, but Joliet young people have been offered a secret weapon to help them navigate their way to future success.

Joliet Junior College has invited kids who are from 13 to 17 years of age to attend its Career Exploration Day, which will give them the inside scoop into the future of many fields. It will be an interactive experience, and the registration fee is $59.

The day will include a variety of workshops led by instructors and industry insiders, and tours of the campus have been scheduled as well. A lunch and learn is in the works, and fields such as nursing, culinary arts, architecture, automotive repair, and construction are among what will be discussed. The activity has a runtime of four hours, and it is just one of several courses, workshops, camps, and other activities planned for Joliet kids for the summer months.

It is never too soon to start planning for the future, and career exploration workshops and other activities may help kids get started. Attendee information packages and other materials for a learning activity will be on offer at a brochure printing company.

Joliet Junior College is set to welcome future students with this interactive experience on Tuesday, June 11. It will run from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
