Joliet library to host dinosaur-themed program

The Joliet Public Library intends to host an event this April that will teach the community about dinosaurs.

The Dinosaur Discovery Program, still going ahead at the time of writing, is an activity where people can learn more about dinosaurs by seeing real fossils. Those who attend the educational program can even interact with the fossils brought to the library.

Guests can arrive 15 minutes before the presentation to meet with Ranger the T-Rex at the front of the building. Organizations that have informational activities such as this can use brochure printing to provide attendees with a take-home educational resource.

The program is organized by T-Rexplorers, which is a group that creates educational programs to get children away from electronic devices by using fossils to recapture their fascination with the world. The company visits several venues throughout the year, including nature centers, retirement homes, schools, and park districts. T-Rexplorers can also participate in birthday parties and corporate events.

The Dinosaur Discovery Program will be held on Tuesday, April 28 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The presentation will be open for everyone to enjoy. T-Rexplorers will be staying at the library for up to 30 minutes after the program is completed to allow attendees to take pictures and touch any fossils they missed during the show. Anyone interested in booking T-Rexplorers for a future event can contact the company for more information.
