Joliet Lego enthusiasts will get the chance to go to Lego Mania

Parents of children who love Lego will want to set time aside for a Lego Mania Spring event coming early next month

As it is sure to be promoting through professional flyer and post printing, the Joliet Area Historical Museum will be holding an afternoon of family-friendly Lego-themed activities and kid-friendly food.

Lego enthusiasts will be able to build with the little plastic blocks, and guests will also get to enjoy Lego Video Games and enter the Lego Race Car Derby. Throughout the museum, children will get to interact in Lego-related games and win prizes. The auditorium stage will have special performances such as the Lego Stage Performance throughout the afternoon. The museum will also have special demonstrations and exhibits.

Everyone will want to sample the goodies at the Candy Bar after eating at the full lunch buffet. There will also be raffles and freebies.

Registration is required. Fees for children will be $25 for each kid from ages 3 to 14. Everyone else will be charged $35. Registration may be completed online at the museum’s website.

The event will be held April 3 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Joliet Area Historical Museum, 204 N. Ottawa Street, Joliet. The lunch buffet will be available from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm.
