Joliet residents on the hunt for a new career may be interested in an activity that will introduce them to the options out there when it comes to driving a bus.
Pace Bus has made arrangements to host a pre-hire event at Joliet Junior College, and it may help them take the first step on the ladder to achieving a Class B Commercial Driver’s License. Advanced registration is on offer, and the successful applicants will soon be able to start their new job.
Those interested are asked to bring along a copy of their valid Illinois driver's license as well as a Secretary of State Motor Vehicles or DMV motor vehicle report, which must have been good for the past five years. They will meet a selection of representatives from Pace Bus, and they will be asked to complete an assessment, background check, and other screening measures. The results will be made available to them two to four days afterwards.
Those who passed the screening will be able to take a two-week course before they receive their on-the-job training. Application Forms, Letterheads, screening sheets, and other business Forms can all be custom designed and prepared by Stationery printers.
