Joliet is one of the stops on Santa’s annual route, and he will be arriving a little bit early this year to spend a day with his younger helpers.
Palkon Parties will be welcoming the Jolly Old Elf for an afternoon of fun, and as there will be three different timeslots available, parents can choose the one that is best suited to their family’s schedule. Tickets start at $13 for each child, the public has been asked to consider making a donation that will cover the cost of a foster child attending the festivities.
The participants in the festivities are encouraged to wear the best “elfwear,” and there will be a prize draw, with the recipient receiving a special event planned by Palkon Parties. The fun that will be on offer will range from crafting stations to snacks, and the planners explained that Santa has some special fun up his sleeve that will be kept under wraps until the day of the celebration.
A function like his can kick off the holiday season for area families, and it ensures everyone will have fun this winter season. Stationery printers will be able to prepare special Invitations from Santa to send out to each child, and if the Print shop offers Variable Data printing services, each can be personalized with the recipient's name.
This start to the festive winter season will be bringing holiday cheer to the community on November 28. The festivities will welcome guests at 2625 Ingalls Avenue.
