Joliet Chamber celebrates the holidays

The holidays are almost here and the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting two events to start off the celebrations.

The first event is Martinis, Mistletoe and More. At this fundraiser for the Council for Working Women, guests will be treated to hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, and there will be signature holiday cocktails available. There will also be a gift tree, raffles, and a variety of holiday entertainment.

The Council for Working Women is part of the Chamber of Commerce. It aims to promote women in business, provide them with a forum, and encourage business growth.

The next celebration will be the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry's annual holiday reception. Guests will likely be treated to appetizers and drinks at what is one of the Chamber's major networking events of the year.

Since both of these events are business-related, it is likely that most Joliet business persons planning to attend one of both of these will bring along their Business Cards.

Martinis, Mistletoe and More will take place on December 2 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Tickets are $25 each.

The holiday reception will be held on December 12 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
