Joliet Chamber asks for top business nominations

The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry is currently accepting nominations for its annual Celebration of Success.

The Celebration of Success and annual dinner is set to take place in early January of next year. The tickets are already on sale and cost $55 each. The evening will include a cocktail reception and awards presentations.

There are several awards that will be handed out during the evening. Chamber members can vote for awards such as Large Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Professional Business Services, and Social Services agencies. The Chamber board also gives out its choices of Ambassador of the Year and other awards.

To qualify for nomination companies must be Chamber members in good standing and have been in business at least two years. Large Business of the Year is for companies with a minimum of 201 employees and Small Business is 200 or less. The companies must also have demonstrated community involvement and business innovation.

Events like this are an opportunity for networking, and most of those who will be attending the dinner will likely be contacting their favorite Joliet business card printing company to order cards in advance.
