An annual craft show that takes place each spring near Joliet is set to make its return, and the function is open to anyone who would like to show some love to the local crafting community.
The Springtide Craft Show will be celebrating its 18th year, and it will be a way for the public and area makers to connect. It will be open to shoppers for six hours, and it has been scheduled for the Romeoville Recreation Center.
Vendors who have reserved a table for the event range from those who craft jewellery and other accessories, to bakers, needlecrafters, floral arrangers, and candlemakers. Handmade pet treats and other items for furry friends will be included as well, and anyone who would like to purchase a bite to eat can stop by the concession area. The organizers invite those who intend on coming out to stop by the pancake breakfast first, which will be held at the Romeoville American Legion Post 52.
Craft shows tend to be relaxed and casual activities, offering time for browsing. If the sellers reach out to a local printing services company ahead of time, they will have Business Cards and other printed items on hand for the occasion.
The 18th annual Springtide Craft Show will be helping the area spring into a new season on March 26. The doors will be open from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
