The Orland Park Veterans Golf Classic is taking place this September
Signing up soon is encouraged, as there is only space for 144 golfers to take part in this Orland Park tournament. Fees are $150 for golf and dinner, $150 for golf only, or $50 for dinner only. The fees include 18 holes of golf, games on the course, breakfast, lunch, the use of a golf cart and a special gift. Dinner will feature a cocktail hour and an open bar.
It will raise funds for several organizations, including the Orland Park Veterans Commission and Veterans Voices. The public can sponsor the event by purchasing a sign to commemorate a veteran, or can opt to place one for a group on the Patriot's Path of Honor.
In addition to raising money to help local veterans groups, a golf tournament like this is a networking opportunity for local business leaders. It is likely that participants will come from all over the area including Joliet and that most will bring their Business Cards with them to exchange with their peers.
