The 32nd annual Puttin' on the Glitz Fashion Show and Luncheon is taking place next month in Bolingbrook. It is a fundraiser for the Joliet Area Community Hospice Guild.
The Joliet Area Community Hospice Guild has existed since 1982 and is a nonprofit organization. The first organization to open a hospice house in Illinois, it serves approximately 1,800 each year and features a dedicated pediatric hospice and palliative care.
After a sit-down lunch, guests will be treated to a fashion show hosted by Dean Naperville and Chicos Orland Park. The latest fall fashions and holiday wear will be on display, and there is a chance it will be available for purchase.
In addition to the fashion show and the luncheon, there will be an auction as well as a 50/50 raffle. Auction items are donated by local businesses and individuals, and organizers are still accepting donations.
