The 2nd annual Fun Day Festival is returning to Joliet this month. It is presented by and is a fundraiser for the NASCAR Foundation.
The festival is aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 12 and hopes to inspire them to live a healthier life.
There will be a variety of NASCAR-themed activities such as the Pit Stop Challenge, together with guest appearances from NASCAR drivers and mascots.
The kids will receive giveaway Bags while they last. These will feature an activity book, jump rope, pedometer watch, and a mini die-cast car. Parents are encouraged to register children in advance to ensure they get one, and T-Shirts will also be given away while supplies last. Healthy snacks and drinks will also be available throughout the morning.
The NASCAR Foundation raises funds for the Speediatrics Children's Fund and the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award. Their primary focus is on health and the medical needs of children.
No doubt parents from all over Joliet whose children are NASCAR fans will want to know about this event. To help spread the word, local printing services companies often provide marketing materials to organizers.
The Fun Day Festival will be held at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet next Friday, June 28 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Admission is free of charge. To learn more, call 877-515-4483.
