The exhibition "Monet and Chicago" has been on display at the Art Institute of Chicago for several months, and is set to continue until the middle of next month.
Currently, the Institute is closed due to a public lockdown, which may mean the exhibition will continue longer than originally planned. Many of the Monet pieces featured can still be viewed on the website.
The exhibit itself features over 65 paintings by Claude Monet, which were taken from the Art Institute's own collection. Bertha and Potter Palmer began collecting them in 1891 and donated 20 to the Institute; they owned 90 of his paintings overall.
This is the largest Monet exhibition outside of Paris. It features still life, seascapes, landscapes and other genres. The Stacks of Wheat series is also included in this show.
It is likely that once the Art Institute is open again, many people from the area, including nearby Joliet, will be travelling to see it. To help remind people of the exhibition, local printing services companies may provide Flyers and Brochures to advertise in the community.
