Chamber hopes to make Joliet jolly

The Joliet Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced an activity for local businesses and residents to add to their diaries in the run-up to the holiday season.

The Council for Working Women (CWW) offers a range of assistance to women re-entering the workforce, or who would like to advance in their field. Several area companies have decided to sponsor the evening, and the agenda for the occasion will see everyone networking and having an enjoyable time.

The guests will be able to mix and mingle while they enjoy some live holiday tunes, and a gift card tree raffle is in the works as well. Small bites will be passed among the crowd, and a cash bar and samples of holiday drinks will be on offer, with everyone encouraged to vote for their favorite martini pour. Tickets for the function are $25 each, and they are available for purchase now.

Many businesses and groups host holiday parties and other social gatherings like this. Business Cards will make it easy for the guests at these functions to share their details with any new contacts they make.

The Victorian Ballroom at the Jacob Henry Mansion Estate has been reserved for this seasonal celebration on Monday, December 6. It will start at 5:00 pm, and additional information can be obtained on the Chamber’s website.
