Annual holiday market set to go for this year

The annual Mistletoe Market is taking place next month in nearby Burr Ridge.

The market will feature dozens of vendors who will be selling all types of items, including handmade jewelry, clothing, beauty supplies, and artworks. Pre-packaged food such as cookies will also likely be available to shoppers. Some samples may be handed out depending on the approval of the Cook County Department of Health.

Vendor spaces are still available for this year's market. The cost is $50 and vendors must bring their own tables and chairs. Lunch can also be preordered for $15. Only two representatives will be allowed to man the tables.

All people who attend are asked to wear a mask and to keep at least six feet apart from others. Hand sanitizer is also recommended after visiting each vendor.

Admission to the market is free but those who RSVP in advance will be entered into a drawing for a special prize package.

No doubt those in the area, including those from Joliet, who are planning to do a lot of holiday shopping will want to attend. Local Stationery printers often provide the advertising for events such as this.

The market will be held at the Burr Ridge Village Center on December 12 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Call 630-654-2782 to learn more.
