Several special events will be held in Frankfort this month and next.
The city invites fathers and their daughters to the Fairy Tale Ball at the Founders Community Center Gym. Light refreshments will be available along with entertainment by a DJ. A professional photographer will be on hand to take formal pictures for an additional fee. This event will be on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with registration for either day required by Monday, January 27.
Soon after, there will be a Senior Valentine Luncheon at the Founders Community Center with a catered lunch, dessert, and live entertainment. Attendees are encouraged to wear something red as well as their dancing shoes. This event is sponsored by Clarendale of Mokena and will be on Friday, February 14 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Finally, Puzzle Manua will allow teams of four to participate in a jigsaw puzzle tournament. Teams will compete against each other to complete the sane puzzle. There are two divisions for the teams, one for family and friends, and one for children between the ages of 5 and 13. The kids will have a puzzle of 300 pieces while the adults will have a puzzle of 500 pieces. This will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, February 21.
