Frankfort will be hosting several seasonal events this October.
Local Print shops can help spread the word about such events with Posters and other displays spread throughout a town.
The annual Scarecrow Building Contest is underway and scout groups, families, community organizations, and homeowners associations are invited to participate. Cross sticks are being provided by the Park District, and scarecrows will be displayed outside the Founders Community Center. Entries are due by Thursday, October 9 and voting on the scarecrows, either at the office at the Founders Community Center or online, will take place from Monday, October 13 through Halloween.
The Founders Community Center will be hosting a Halloween Bash with a balloon artist, a DJ dance party, spooky games, a hayride, inflatables, and a small pumpkin patch, among other activities. Attendees are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
The fee to register is $15 per child by Friday, October 10, and $20 per child thereafter. This event is sponsored by Town Center Bank, Cedarhurst Senior Living, and Culvers, and will take place from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 17.
Meanwhile, Howl-A-Woof is an event for dogs and will also feature a bone yard hunt and a costume competition. There will be vendors at the Bark Park for dogs to “trick or treat” with, as well a chance to win a prize for the scariest, funniest, and best overall costume. This will be on Saturday, October 18 and will start at 10:00 am.Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
