Several special events will be taking place in Frankfort next month.
Classic Car & Movie Night will offer an array of custom and vintage cars through which people can stroll before the movie in Main Park. The movie shown will be the classic “American Graffiti” on the big screen. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for an evening of everlasting fun. Those who own classic cars are also invited to bring their vehicles and be part of the show. This event is on Wednesday June, with the car show from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. and the movie beginning at 8:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
The Frankfort Park District will be hosting Parties in Park will be at Heritage Knolls Park at Parkway Lane and Heritage Drive. This outdoor event will include a DJ dance party, activities, games, and many more fun things to do. This will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday June 8.
Movies on the Green will feature “Beauty and the Beast” at Breidert Green. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket but to leave their pets and alcoholic beverages at home. The Frankfort Park District, Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, and the Village of Frankfort sponsor these movies. This movie will be screened on Tuesday June 9 at approximately 8:15 p.m.
