Seasonal family events to be held in Frankfort

Frankfort will be hosting several family-friendly events next month.

The Annual Family Fun Fly will be celebrating “Flying for Kids Month”, which is a kite fly across the state to promote recreational agencies, park districts, and the Park District Youth License Plate. People are encouraged to bring their own kite or borrow one from the Park District for flying. This event will be held on Wednesday April 1 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Main Park. It is free and open to the public.

The Easter Bunny will be making personal visits to the homes of residents. The Bunny will have a special treat for children and will enable children to have an outdoor photo taken with the Bunny. The Bunny will spend about 10 minutes at each home. This will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday April 3.

Children of all ages are encouraged to clean out their toy Boxes, closets, and under their beds so they can sell their no longer needed or unwanted games, toys, Books, and other items at the Kids Garage Sale. There will be a 10 foot by six-foot space for each participating child to sell their toys. This will be at Founders Community Center on Saturday April 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Events like these are ideal to be promoted throughout a village and neighboring communities with Flyers or poster printing.
