Two new coffee shops will be coming to Frankfort.
A special use permit has been approved by the Frankfort Village Board for Solyne Coffee and Dimes Coffee.
Solyne Coffee will be on S. Frankfort Square Road in the Cappel Commons development. Its name is combination of the words in French for the moon and the sun. Wdian Al Haj Rahmon, owner of the coffee shop, said that it is a small business owned by the family. She said that the shop will offer coffee and cappuccino as well as European and Middle Eastern bakery items. The opening date of the shop has also not been set.
Dimes Coffee will in the Patriot Center on W. Laraway Road. The volleyball club in the center could attract customers from the club from both spectators and players. Dimes Coffee will offer refreshing drinks, coffee, and pastries.
An adjustment to the parking for the shop was approved by the Frankfort Village Board to allow the 11 parking spaces required for the shop to be shared with the 207 spaces already on the property. The hours of Dimes Coffee will be Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No opening date has been determined.
Banner printing is often used at such sites to inform residents of new establishments and their offerings for the community.
