Frankfort will be hosting several special events this month and next.
Such events can be promoted throughout a village and neighboring communities with poster printing.
There will be a Back to School Bash at Commissioners Park hosted by the Frankfort Park District. Open to people of all ages, it will be an evening of fun, filled with carnival games, field games, a craft station, music, and a touch-a-truck event. School supplies are also being collected by the Frankfort Park District for students in need. This event will be on Thursday, August 14 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
This will be followed by a Splash After Hours Party at the Splash Park at Commissioners Park. This is for children between the ages of 2 and 10 who are accompanied by a parent. This event will feature games, an inflatable jump, and pizza. The cost is $15 per child and the deadline to register is Wednesday, August 13 with the event on Monday, August 18 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Next month, there will be a Family Campout at Commissioners Park. Families will have the opportunity to play some field games, roast s’mores, take a hayride around the park, make a craft, and listen to spooky ghost stories. There will also be a movie and a continental breakfast in the morning. This will be on Friday, September 12 from 6:30 pm on Friday to 9:00 am the next morning.
