Frankfort to hold evening of summer fun

The annual Lincoln-Way Summer Fest will be coming to Frankfort this month.

This event promises to be an evening of refreshments, food, live music, dancing, and raffles under the summer sky. The cost to order tickets now is $30 per person and will go up to $35 per person the day of the event. Poster printing companies can be hired to create displays around town to promote such events and their fundraising efforts.

There will be three bands performing at the event, and will be the Walk-Ins, the Muzak Department and Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band. Gatto’s will be providing the food, which is included in the price of a ticket, with Nothing Bundt Cakes providing dessert available for purchase. Parking is free and there will be a cash bar. Summer Fest is in support of the Lincoln-Way Foundation and its teachers, students, and families.

The Wexler Group is the presenting sponsor, Image360 is the promoting sponsor, and band sponsors include Gnade Insurance Group Inc., Old Second Bank, Body In Sync, and Aesthetica Day Spa. Proceeds from the event will fund scholarships and grant requests for educational programs for teachers and students at Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210.

Summer Fest will take place at the CD & ME on South La Grange Road in Frankfort on Friday, July 15 beginning at 6:00 pm.
