Frankfort to hold annual fall festival

The Frankfort Fall Festival, sponsored by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, will take place this September.

John Clavio, chairperson of the Fall Festival, said it will be modified to some extent and will be more like a fall arts and crafts market. It is hoped that hundreds of artisans from across the country will be there to exhibit and sell their unique products and services. Artisans create items ranging from fine jewelry to handmade ornaments offering a potential for gifts, a special item for the holiday season, or a unique item for the home.

There will be a food court that will be run by local businesses working with civic organizations. Proceeds from food sales will go towards helping the nonprofit organizations in the area. Among the favorite menu items will be funnel cakes and walking tacos. The Breidert Green Entertainment Stage will also be featuring a space where families can relax, listen to music, and enjoy a tasty treat under the tent while carnival rides will offer fun and diversion for the kids.

There will also be special events to highlight the many festivities of the Fall Festival. Local organizations will collaborate to sponsor these events. Such events may be promoted throughout the community with poster printing.

The Frankfort Fall Festival will take place over Labor Day weekend from Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7.
