Frankfort holds exhibit of local artwork

The Village Hall of Frankfort is currently holding an exhibit of artwork by local artists, the first such exhibit by the Frankfort Arts Association (FAA).

Such organizations often call upon local printing services to announce such special exhibits throughout the community.

Lisa Podlesak, president of the FAA, said that this exhibit will showcase the vision of the members of the Association of Frankfort, and its local inhabitants and natural landscapes. Among the artists featured at the exhibit are Vanessa White Mottley, Richard Schmidt, Claire Podlesak, and Sandy Newell. Pieces can be purchased from the artists but will remain on exhibit through its duration.

Jim Holland, mayor of Frankfort, said that the Association and its members have worked hard to promote the visual arts in the town. He added that their talent, creativity, and professionalism have made Frankfort a better place in which to live, noting that these artists and their work are warmly welcomed at the village administration building.

The goal of the FAA is to enhance the community through promotion, education, creation, and appreciation of the arts. The Association is working to provide a creative space within the community for people to take part in exploration, inspiration, and enrichment programs.

The exhibit will run through Monday, February 15 and is opened from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
