The Frankfort Fall Festival will be coming to town later this month.
This year’s theme for the festival is Starfest. It is anticipated that close to 250,000 people will be attending this year’s festival, which will showcase over 300 artisans from all over the United States and special events hosted by many of the local organizations in town.
Entertainment for the entire family will take place on the Breidert Green Entertainment Stage. Among those performing are the Briggs Street Band, Phylis Marconi, Jimmy O & Rhonda Lee, and Crawford’s Daughter. There is a shaded rest tent at the Breidert Green for relaxing and enjoying the music and another one next to the Food Court.
Local civic organizations in conjunction with local businesses run the Food Court so people can enjoy various cuisines while also supporting local non-profit organizations.
One of the featured events at the festival is the parade on Sunday afternoon. Businesses, antique vehicles, marching bands, and floats are some of the expected participants in the parade. Artisans will also be part of the festival selling items ranging from fine jewelry to handmade ornaments and will often have Business Cards to hand for those who want to get in touch after the event.
The festival will be taking place over Labor Day weekend, from Saturday August 31 through Monday September 2.
