Wildey Theatre to host second Anthology show
The Wildey Theatre has announced that it will be hosting a second show by Anthology, the popular Allman Brothers tribute band, before the end of this year.
The show was added due to what organizers described as “overwhelming demand,” as the first show sold out.
Anthology is a six-piece band that covers all of the Allman Brothers’ greatest hits, including “Little Marta,” “Black Hearted Woman,” and “Jessica.” The band’s three main members are Danny Liston, Dickie Steltenphol, and Tom Deman, with Rob Lee, Mark Kersten, and Matt Rowland joining for select numbers. The band has been playing together for years and touring since 2019, with organizers noting that their shows have become more and more in demand as the group continues to tour.
Showtime on the night of the upcoming concert is at 7:30 pm. As such, attendees have the opportunity to visit downtown Edwardsville and enjoy the holiday spirit, grab dinner, and potentially do some shopping. Many stores will be open for late holiday gifts or in celebration of the upcoming New Year.
The second concert is on Thursday, December 29. It is at the Wildey Theatre, which is located at 252 N. Main Street, Edwardsville. Tickets can be purchased at the Wildey’s website, and the holiday timing of the event could allow it to be ideal for personal or corporate gifts.
