Experienced pro to join SIUE radio
Veteran radio professional Robin Boyce has accepted the position of associate director of underwriting at WSIE 88.7, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s (SIUE) radio station.
Boyce’s has a varied and extensive background with a resumé that includes journalist, media sales professional, and on-air radio personality in the St. Louis market. The 50,000-watt public radio station is hopeful that Boyce will facilitate WSIE’s endeavor to be financially stable.

Beyond her substantial experience in the jazz scene, Boyce also has worked at Clear Channel Radio, Radio One, KETC Channel Nine, STL TV, Bonneville International, and the City of St. Louis. As WSIE is based on the campus of SIUE, Boyce’s extensive education background will be a plus.
Boyce’s addition to the WSIE team comes as the station nears the conclusion of its 50th year on air. She stated:
“WSIE, under the leadership of Jason Church, will continue to transcend time, providing timeless music that ties itself with what is going on locally and in today’s world. This station provides music for several generations!”
WSIE provides a blend of jazz, easy R&B, and blues to the greater St. Louis region. The station describes itself as “your break from all the noise.”
