Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce makes cocktails
The Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce has announced that they will, once again, but hosting their annual cocktail competition. The event brings together local restaurants and bars in a friendly competition to see who can create the best cocktail, as judged by event attendees.
Chamber officials have said that eight participants will participate in this year’s event: Blue Violet, Brick+Bramble, Cleveland Heath, Edley's Bar-B-Que, Foundry Public House, Peel Wood Fired Pizza, and 1818 Chophouse, as well as defending champion, Moussalli's Prime. Cocktails at the event will be judged by those who buy tickets for both look and taste.
The event will also feature specially curated appetizers from all participating restaurants, giving event attendees a chance to not only drink, but eat. Buying tickets to the event also means that event attendees will have the opportunity to discuss future events with staff that will be on hand. Promotional products from all participating businesses will be available.
The event is being sponsored by Witness Distillery, and additional sponsorships for this event are not currently available.
The event is on March 2, and will run from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. It is being held at The Ink House, 117 N. 2nd Street, in Edwardsville, Illinois. Tickets are $85 and can be purchased in advance. All proceeds from the event go to support the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce.
