Beer-based fundraiser delivers help to Edwardsville
Beer lovers who want to support a good cause are in for a treat. A beer-tasting fundraiser is planning to visit Edwardsville to raise money.
The Hops and Heroes festival will stop in Edwardsville in a few weeks to hold the 2024 iteration of its charity event. The event will feature several top breweries from around the St. Louis and Edwardsville region.
The funds raised by the event will go to the St. Louis Honor Flight, which recognizes the efforts and experiences of Korean, Vietnam, and World War II veterans with a flight to Washington, D.C., to visit war memorials. Each ticket purchased allows the registered guest up to four hours of beer-tasting and a complimentary glass to remember the event. Promotional products are an excellent way for participating breweries to forge connections with attendees and increase future purchases.
Shirts will also be available, though they do not come with the ticket price. Some participating breweries include 4 Hands, Second Shift, Schlafly, Urban Chestnut, and East Side Brewers. All guests must be 21 or older to gain entry to the charity beer festival. Bands will also attend to provide music and entertainment.
The Edwardsville Moose Lodge will host the event on Saturday, August 3, with the doors opening at noon and the event concluding at 4:00 PM. General admission tickets can be reserved online for $45 per guest.
