Another new restaurant comes to Edwardsville
Print companies in Edwardsville have no doubt been kept busy with work from a plethora of new restaurants opening in the city recently, and that does not look like ceasing any time soon, with another launch now set to take place.
Right on the back of the opening of restaurants like Cunetto’s, Stur, and Unkle Munkey’s, the Social Gastropub will offer hungry diners a new menu every two months.
The new eatery will open where Shenanigans Bar and Grill used to be. Located on Route 157, it is the second in a chain of Social Gastropubs owned by Mike Graber, along with two Pittsburgh Steelers players.
Graber, who runs the chain with backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowskiand and wide receiver Lance Moore, explained why he is heading for Edwardsville:
The co-owner went on to explain how the menu changes work, saying:
The menu is changed every two months, according to diner preferences. One dish that remains forever on the menu though is the mac-n-cheese.
With a base of cavatappi noodles and a nine-cheese sauce, customers can choose from 40 – 60 toppings to create their ultimate dish. Toppings including lobster, truffle oil, pork belly, and buffalo sauce and chorizo.
The new restaurant, which will also offer 30 craft beers, opens on September 17.

“People are coming to Edwardsville from St. Louis to eat.”
The co-owner went on to explain how the menu changes work, saying:
“We change 75 percent of the menu.”
