Virtual theater event to come to Crystal Lake
In Crystal Lake, the Sage Studio Virtual Theatre Festival is set to be streamed online, beginning next month.
The Raue Center For the Arts is the host of this entertainment event. As a non-profit, community-based organization, the Center is devoted to promoting and supporting the performing arts in Crystal Lake for the enjoyment of spectators, as well as to provide opportunities for actors and performers.
This Crystal Lake theater event will feature two play performances, one involving performers ages 13 to 18, and the other with participants between 7 to 12 years old. A cabaret involving solo musical theater performances from participants of all ages will also be included in the Sage Studio Virtual Theatre Festival. Raue Center will edit all recorded performances in order to stream three nights of online performances, which will be hosted live on the center’s channel on Vimeo. When promoting similar online events, the organizers often choose flyer printing in order to produce a sufficient number of printouts to post on bulletin boards, or distribute in relevant areas where they will draw the attention of people who are interested in taking part.
The cost for performers to join the event is $75 per individual.
