Crystal Lake car show feeds the local food bank

More than 200 vehicles will line the streets at next month's Crystal Lake Cars and Caffeine (CLCC) Charity Car Show.

The fourth annual event will be presented by CLCC organizers in conjunction with many community sponsors. Businesses who get involved in large events such as this often use Print shops for Logo Design services to use in their advertising and promotion.

Three blocks downtown will become an open-air showcase of many kinds of vehicles competing for show prizes. Cars and trucks, motorcycles, sports cars, imports, muscle cars, classics, and vintage vehicles of all makes and ages are expected to register for the event.

The theme of the show is Driving Out Hunger as it is held in support of the Crystal Lake Food Pantry, which will receive 100% of the net profit from the event. The Food Pantry has been meeting the nutritional needs of hundreds of families in McHenry County since 1983. The goal of the 2026 car show is to raise $10,000 toward stocking the pantry shelves.

The CLCC Charity Car Show will be held on Sunday, May 17 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Grant, Brink, and Williams Streets in downtown Crystal Lake. It will be rescheduled for May 31 in the event of inclement weather. Further information and registration is available on the event website.
