There will be afternoon, evening and late night festivities to mark St. Patrick’s Day at the Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake.
The historic Victorian-era mansion was built in 1865 for a wealthy entrepreneur. Over the many years since, it has been fully restored to its original grandeur with the addition of modern services. Today, the mansion frequently hosts community events and has an active non-profit foundation that works to raise funds and ensure the Dole and its 12-acre waterfront property is protected for many years to come.
Next month’s Irish celebrations will include live music plus traditional food and beverages for purchase. The entertainment schedule will feature Lilies of the Midwest from 2 to 3:30 pm, Brett Gaertner from 4 to 6 pm and The King of Mars from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. For those who want to continue the festivities, Lou’s Lounge at the Dole will host an after-party until 11 pm featuring DJ Dave.
The day’s events are free to attend, but reserved tickets are required so that organizers have an idea of attendance numbers.
