The Lakeside Festival returns next month to Crystal Lake with four days of activities for the whole family.
Presented and hosted by the Dole mansion, the event is among the biggest and oldest running festivals in the county.
A large carnival will be the highlight of the event with unlimited rides available when full-day wristbands are purchased. Children can also enjoy face painting, visiting with characters, superheroes and team mascots, and participating in the decorated kids’ bike parade.
Live music will be presented each day on two stages featuring country, rock and other genres. Additional festival events include a cornhole tournament, an ice-cream social, a beer garden, a tropical drink garden, an Independence Day parade and a fireworks show over the lake at dusk on the final evening.
Proceeds from the Lakeside Festival will benefit the Dole’s Lakeside Legacy Foundation, which in turn supports community arts, education and cultural programs.
Non-profit organizations such as this often use local Print shops to create advertising and promotional materials for their special events.
The Lakeside Festival is set for July 2nd to July 5th 2026 in the grounds of the historic Dole mansion and Lakeside Arts Park in Crystal Lake. Opening hours will be from 3 pm to 11 pm on July 2nd, noon to 11 pm on July 3rd and 4th, and noon to 10 pm on July 5th.
