Wines from across the globe will be featured in the upcoming Downtown Crystal Lake Wine Walk.
Wine samples from a range of international wine regions will be provided by 18 local businesses along the walking route.
Participants can sip both a red and a white wine at each venue and then stroll to the next location. Hundreds of people are expected to take part in the tastings and also enjoy snacks, in-store specials, and live music performances.
Five spots downtown will serve as starting points and check-in locations where participant wristbands will be provided.
Each ticket holder will receive a souvenir wine glass, a lanyard and an official wine passport, plus their choice of a bottle of wine to take home at the end of the afternoon. Participants are encouraged to support downtown restaurants after completing the tastings.
The wine walk is a fundraiser for Downtown Crystal Lake. The nonprofit organization has secured more than a dozen contributing sponsors to make the event possible.
Businesses who get involved in community activities such as this often use Print shops to create materials that increase brand recognition.
The second annual Downtown Crystal Lake Midsummer Wine Walk will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 2 pm to 6 pm. Tickets are $40 per person for those aged 21 and over and can be purchased online.
