Home improvement show on its way to Crystal Lake
Residents of Crystal Lake and the surrounding area have an event to look forward to that will help cheer up a long winter.
The Crystal Lake Home and Garden Expo will return later this month. National and local experts will be in attendance to showcase the latest in home improvement services and products, and to share the newest ideas in repairing, remodeling, and beautifying houses.
Visitors can talk to experts in many fields of home building and repair, and find solutions to problems, both interior and exterior. They can also get an idea of the expenses involved in tackling various projects, and will be able to shop at the Exclusive Marketplace for treasures to take home that day.
Organizers of events like this frequently work with a flyer printing company to create a handout for show visitors, listing the vendors and their products, and providing a map of the exposition hall to make it easy for attendees to find displays of particular interest.
The Expo takes place this weekend, February 13 and 14, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm both days. The show will be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center, which is located in Crystal Lake, on Route 31, just south of Northwest Highway (Route 14). The expo is open to the public, and both admission and parking are free.
