Fundraiser steps back to the 70s
The 30th Annual McHenry County Fashion Show fundraiser will be taking place in Crystal Lake this April.
Their year's event is themed "Spring Into Style,” and commemorate the founding year of Senior Services Associates, which was 1973. Attendees are encouraged to dress according to the theme, wearing floppy hats, patterned shirts, headbands, fringe vests, bell bottoms, and other accessories associated with the early 1970s.
The fashion show will showcase top-of-the-line attire from various shops. Guests will be treated to a three-course lunch, including beverages and desserts. They will also have the opportunity to browse through silent auction areas filled with items such as home décor, restaurant certificates, golf course vouchers, chocolates, and more. Additionally, there will be chances for individuals to participate in raffle draws and win door prizes.
Adult tickets are $50, tickets for kids 10 years old and under cost $17, and member tickets are $42. A 10-person table will cost $420.
