Flowering fundraiser gets in bloom
The public is invited to come out and shop for flowers on the streets of Crystal Lake, just in time for Mother’s Day.
An annual event, the 2014 Spring Flower Sale Fundraiser features a number of annual plants that are in full bloom for viewing and shopping pleasure. The organizations sponsoring this event may have used poster printing to share information about the sale with people in the community.
This month is National Lupus Awareness month, so the sponsors have decided to make a donation to the National Lupus Foundation for each purple flowering plant purchased throughout the sale. Guests will find a wide assortment of annuals available to be purchased. Sales will be conducted by volunteers from the downtown core who will be offering attractive planters and hanging baskets as well. People attending the sale will enjoy some lively music, and will also have the opportunity to participate in raffles at the Lupus Foundation Booth.
Admission to this event is free and there is plenty of parking available. The 2014 Spring Flower Sale Fundraiser will be occurring on Saturday, May 10, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the corner of Williams and Blake Street in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
