Films for a dollar at local cinema
Crystal Lake movie fans will be able to enjoy the summer a little bit more now that one of the local cinemas started offering movies for just $1.
The deal, valid Tuesdays and Wednesdays, is part of a summer campaign by Regal Cinemas.
With some big movies coming out already this year, some of those included in the event include The Lego Movie and Despicable Me 2.
The chief marketing officer at Regal Entertainment Group explained the movie choice, saying:
He went on to say that movie going in the summer is a great tradition that should be passed to the next generation.
Families looking for a budget trip out will be able to take their kids along and perhaps even have an extra bucket of popcorn.
Poster printing to advertise the Summer Movie Express is likely to be going up to advertise the 10:00 am shows in Regal Crystal Lake Showplace Stadium 16.
People going to the showings will also be helping the Will Rogers Institute; a charitable organisation set up in memory of 20th Century actor and comedian Will Rogers that raises cash to research cardiopulmonary diseases.
All tickets for the Summer Movie Express shows can be bought from the ticket office at the theater.
