The Frostmoon Faire will be held next month in Crystal Lake to showcase the art of local students and their instructors.
Artists that present their work at events such as this will usually have Business Cards available for prospective clients.
The Faire will be presented by Creative Arts Inc. a non-profit arts organization that has studios in Crystal Lake and nearby Woodstock. Art from both galleries will be featured and faerie or medieval costumes are encouraged as part of the frost moon theme.
The organization is celebrating 15 years of presenting community events and offering year-round art classes for all ages. Students learn to draw, sculpt, crochet, paint, sew and work with other art mediums in more than 50 classes offered each week.
The upcoming faire will not only include artist vendor spaces, but also feature painting demonstrations, art activities, a mini fairy garden and a special walk-through enchanted forest.
Children can also enjoy decorating cookies, face painting and a scavenger hunt in which they can win prizes. If the weather cooperates, there will also be outside games. Attendees can also enjoy a live musical performance and refreshments from an onsite food truck.
The Frostmoon Faire will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026 beginning at 10 am at The Dole, 401 Country Club Road in Crystal Lake. There will be no admission charge, but donations are welcome and will go toward Creative Arts scholarships and programs.
