Crystal Lake pays tribute to a King
A concert paying homage to pop legend Carole King will be held in Crystal Lake this July.
Tapestry Unraveled: The Music of Carole King features Tina Naponelli paying tribute to the pop and soul icon. Naponelli’s set will be accompanied by a live band, and the evening will offer a musical trip down memory lane for the fans of King.
Carole King, now 81, was a 1960s songwriter turned singer, who pioneered many works that would later become hallmarks for pop music. Her most influential songs include “You’ve Got A Friend,” “Will You Love Me,” and, perhaps most of all, her cover of Aretha Franklin’s “A Natural Woman”. With this event, Tina Naponelli will offer a family-friendly take on these classic and timeless hits.
The cost for tickets to this event will vary between $9.10 and $35. Prices will vary depending on seating preferences, as well as membership with the host venue. There are discounts of $8 to $10 for adult members, and $3 to $4 for children. Further information is available on the Etix.com listing.
Promotional pens can be a great souvenir for audiences at events such as this one.
This event will start at 7:00 pm on Saturday, July 15 at the Raue Center for the Arts. This is located at 26 North Williams Street, Crystal Lake.
