Crystal Lake hosts Elton John tribute artist

Elton Rohn will close out the year at the Raue Center for Performing Arts in Crystal Lake.

Rated as one of the top Elton tribute artists, the band presents songs from the 1970s live with no dubbing. Ron Camilleri from Toronto, Canada is Elton, complete with musical ability, flashy outfits, and iconic eyewear. He and the group members have performed at more than 400 indoor and outdoor venues across Canada and the United States, including more than 50 shows in 2024.

Crystal Lake’s Raue Center for Performing Arts is operated by a non-profit organization. The organization’s core values include the discovery of new talent and providing time, space, and education for a diverse group of artists and the community as a whole. The building first opened in 1929 as a movie and vaudeville theater. Over the following decades, it was widely used for films, plays and musicals. It was well loved by resident Lucile Raue who left a large donation towards the restoration of the building, which was completed in 2001, providing a modern 750-seat theater.

Venues such as the Raue Center often use poster printing to advertise their upcoming shows.
Elton Rohn will perform December 31 at 7:00 pm. A facility fee included in the ticket price goes toward operation and maintenance of the historic theater. Tickets are available online or from the local box office.
