The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Idaho will hold its annual Sportsman’s Dinner, an event featuring a full evening of competitions, raffles, and auctions.
Attendees can expect a mix of activities, including multiple game stations, a range of raffle drawings, a live auction, and a separate dessert auction. Guests are encouraged to bring their longest pheasant tail feather for a special prize competition.
Auction and raffle items will include outdoor gear and sporting goods from companies such as Crispi Boots, Stone Glacier, Weatherby, Ruger, Kenetrek Boots, and Final Rise, along with contributions from regional businesses. Custom club-etched glassware will be available for purchase, and those who buy beer or wine glasses will receive unlimited pours—three beer options and two wine selections. The dinner will be catered by Grubbin’ BBQ, returning with its signature barbecue menu.
The event welcomes individuals aged 12 and older. General admission costs $60.54, including fees, while couples tickets are $97.88 with fees. A front-row donor table seating eight is priced at $850 and includes recognition during the event and added raffle entries. Optional one-year club memberships are also available: $50 for an individual membership and $55 for a family membership.
Organizers may consider poster printing as a reliable method for spreading information within outdoor and sporting communities about events such as this one.
The dinner is set for February 21st from 5 pm to 10 pm at the Nampa Elks Lodge #1389, 1116 1st St South, Nampa, Idaho.
