Aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners, students, and community members will gather in Nampa this June for the Start Here Conference, an event focused on business development, networking, and professional growth.
Hosted by the College of Western Idaho’s Entrepreneur Lab, the program is designed to connect participants with experienced professionals while providing practical insight into launching and growing a venture.
The evening will feature discussions with regional business leaders representing a variety of industries. Panelists include Tori McKim of Flying M Coffeeshop, Oscar Diaz of Relentless Owl Studio, and Maegan Rupe of PowerPort Sweater.
A networking reception with appetizers will follow the panel discussion, giving guests an opportunity to meet fellow innovators, exchange ideas, and build professional relationships within the Treasure Valley business community. Organizers say the event is intended to create a supportive environment for individuals at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
The keynote presentation will be delivered by Kristin Armstrong, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and entrepreneur. Armstrong is expected to discuss perseverance, leadership, and the mindset required to achieve long-term success in competitive environments and business endeavors.
Admission is available for $5 per person, including applicable sales tax. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate for the same price. Complimentary parking will be available at the venue.
As with many professional conferences and community events, organizers often use flyer printing to advertise to the wider community.
The Start Here Conference will take place on Tuesday, June 9th, from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Nampa Civic Center, 311 3rd Street South, Nampa, Idaho.
