Snake River Stampede returns for rodeo season

The Snake River Stampede will return to Nampa for a five-day series featuring professional rodeo competitions, special events, and community celebrations.

Recognized as one of the premier regular-season rodeos in the country, the Stampede has grown from its early 20th-century local bucking horse contests into a nationally respected sporting event.

Evening performances will open at 5:30 pm, with pre-rodeo events starting at 6:45 pm and main rodeo competitions at 7:30 pm. The Saturday matinee on June 20 begins with doors at 10:30 am, pre-rodeo at 11:15 am, and the rodeo itself at noon. Additional activities include Slack competitions held each morning, themed nights such as Hometown Heroes and Patriot Night, and Pink on the Dirt, which raises funds and awareness for breast cancer. The festival also features amphitheater watch parties with live music following nightly rodeo performances.

Tickets vary by event. Evening admissions start at $35 for general seating, while matinee access costs $25. The Stampede Wine Down, a wine-tasting experience showcasing Idaho wineries, is scheduled for Sunday, June 21 with tickets at $55, including a keepsake glass, tasting passport, and live music. Organizers of this kind of event frequently use poster printing to display sponsorship information throughout the venue.

The 2026 Snake River Stampede takes place from Tuesday, June 16, through Saturday, June 20, with performances each night at 7:30 pm and the Saturday matinee at noon, at Nampa’s Ford Idaho Center. Doors open 90 minutes before each performance.
