A professional training seminar centered on law enforcement hiring practices will be held in Nampa this March.
The event will bring together agency leaders seeking effective ways to attract and retain candidates in a demanding labor environment.
The two-day program is designed to help departments move beyond traditional job postings and toward relationship-driven outreach. Instruction will focus on building meaningful connections with prospective officers, improving engagement throughout the hiring pipeline, and creating a welcoming first impression that encourages applicants to complete the process.
Participants will receive instruction on proven methods currently used by agencies nationwide to stand out in a competitive employment market. The course will examine outreach techniques, messaging approaches, and contact strategies that support long-term workforce development. While the instructor has yet to be announced, the curriculum is structured to provide practical, immediately applicable guidance.
The registration cost is $445 per attendee. Training hours run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on the first day, followed by 8:00 am to noon on the second.
