Special girls event in Nampa

An event is on the schedule in Nampa to make girls feel like princesses.

Paul Mitchell The School Nampa is hosting “Princess for a Day.” Parents are encouraged to dress their girls as their favorite princess, or in anything they love wearing. Once they get to the school, the princesses will receive a makeup application, change of nail polish, and a new hairstyle, courtesy of one of the students. The makeovers take about 30 minutes each. Flyer printing is often used to publicize local events like this.

After all the makeovers are complete, refreshments will be served, and there will be dancing, singing, coloring activity, and a chance to meet and greet the EverAfter Enchantments Princesses. EverAfter Enchantments is a children’s party planning company, and they often feature popular characters at these events. A photobooth will be available where people can take photos for no charge.

Princesses of all ages are welcome, but most typically are between 2 and 12. Funds raised at the event will go to support Paul Mitchell’s FUNraising efforts. Among other causes, Paul Mitchell supports the Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation, the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, Food 4 Africa, the Best Friends Animal Society, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Leeza’s Care Connection, the Gary Sinise Foundation, and the Thirst Project.

Princess for a Day is set for September 10 from 4.30 pm until 7.30 pm.
