Nampa wellness studio to benefit community heroes
Elevate will be holding an event in Nampa to celebrate local everyday heroes.
The Elevate Our Everyday Heroes Event is a monthly program where those who contribute to the community are honored with a free service from Elevate. Participants will be treated to a red-light therapy session and pain light, which is a spa service that uses colored light to boost a person’s collagen production. Guests can even receive a free halotherapy session in the facility’s salt room and a resource guide. VIP tours of Elevate will also be held at the event.
Courageous Survival will also attend the celebration to provide everyday heroes and their family members with valuable resources. The organization is a non-profit based in Idaho with the mission of giving heroes access to mental health resources and encouraging those impacted by trauma to reach out for help. The group offers training sessions and holds peer support meetings. Past programs offered by Courageous Survival include the ETIP Trauma Intervention Program and LivingWorks ASIST.
The event for everyday heroes will take place on Saturday, December 10 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Those eligible for the program include law enforcement officers, clinicians, and firefighters. Veterans and their spouses may also take part in the free light therapy session. Organizations holding beneficial community activities such as this can use printing services to make flyers for advertising the programs.
