Nampa to hold chocolate-themed marketplace
The Nampa Civic Center will organize a holiday market in November featuring several chocolate vendors.
The Craft & Chocolate Affaire is an annual marketplace where attendees can browse multiple chocolatiers. The two-day bazaar also features many types of crafts vendors who sell items like handmade soaps, custom paintings, cottage foods, and jewelry. Merchant spaces can be found throughout the center, including the dressing rooms and hallways of the venue. Sponsorship packages for the chocolate-themed market will range from $1,000 to $5,000.
The Nampa Civic Center is a community project that was built over 25 years ago. The venue was intended to host conferences for businesses and provide a theatrical space for local performances. Many shows are held at the John Brandt Performing Arts Theater, including Elf and The Nutcracker. The civic center also hosts events such as the Senior Fair and Oktoberfest. The venue holds more than 800 events per year and attracts over 125,000 guests. The center also has a kitchen with an executive chef.
The chocolate and crafts market will be held on November 3rd and November 4th. There is no cost for the public to browse the marketplace, and registration is not needed. The remaining spots for vendors at the market can be bought for $115 and $125. Merchants who attend these bazaars may bring promotional products like stickers or pens for their booth visitors.
