Bird watching society to view ducks in Nampa

The Golden Eagle Audubon Society will be organizing a bird-watching activity in November at the Wilson Springs Ponds in Nampa.

Those interested in viewing ducks in their natural habitat can attend a viewing session with the Wednesday Morning Birders. Attendees will get to see ducks in breeding plumage at the Wilson Springs Ponds. The guides for the activity move at a slower pace to allow all guests to see the birds and will have a few pairs of binoculars on hand in case people need them. All levels of birders are welcome at the event, though a grownup must accompany participants who are under 18.

The Golden Eagle Audubon Society is an organization based in Boise, Idaho that organizes birding trips, educational presentations, and science programs. The group also participates in restoration efforts for public lands. The organization is the Southwest Idaho chapter of the National Audubon Society and was founded in 1972. Other programs offered by the society include the Bird-Friendly Coffee Club. Those who run clubs such as this may use printing services to make ads for the organization.

The duck watching session will take place on Wednesday, November 24th from 9:00 am to noon. Registration for the birding experience will open to the public on November 10th at 9:00 am. The group will be meeting at the main parking lot of the venue by the restroom.
